Help renovating a home
In 2010, with a group of volunteers and support of foreign donors, Neoumanist started a renovation programme for deteriorated houses of the disadvantaged elderly from Straseni and surrounding villages.
The usual renovation includes: building in of new windows and the main door, installation of heating and setting up a cooking stove, painting of walls and floors.
Depending on the state of a house, renovation can cost between 500-2500 € ( including construction materials and labor). Sometimes volunteers participate in a renovation, thus saving the expenditure of labor costs.
